The important part, first
You send a description of a job. A person reads it. If it is clear, your name and contact details are passed to one tradesperson so they can get in touch with you about that job.
- It is not sold, and it is not sent to several trades to bid against each other.
- It is not published anywhere on this site.
- It is not added to a mailing list, and you will not be marketed to.
- The tradesperson is an independent business, and once you are in touch your dealings with them are between you and them.

There is no account, no password and no payment information, because the site has none of those things.
How it is sent and stored
A form submission is emailed to the address published on this site. It sits in that mailbox. There is no database, no CRM and no third-party analytics or advertising platform receiving it.
- The site loads no third-party scripts, fonts or trackers. Fonts are self-hosted. There is no Google Analytics, no advertising pixel and no social embed.
- The only cookie-like storage is a draft of the request form kept in your own browser so you do not lose it, and a record of a cookie choice if you made one. Neither leaves your device. See cookies.
- The form keeps a short-lived timestamp and a per-connection submission count purely to stop automated spam.
How long it is kept
Enquiry emails are kept while they are useful for following up on the job, and cleared periodically after that. If you want yours removed sooner, ask — it is a mailbox, and deleting from it is straightforward.
Your rights, and how to use them
Under the GDPR you can ask for a copy of what is held about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Email the address below and say which.
- Access — a copy of what was received from you.
- Rectification — correcting something wrong.
- Erasure — deleting it.
- Objection — telling us not to pass your details to anyone.
The lawful basis for passing your details to a tradesperson is your request: you asked to be put in touch, and that is the entire purpose. If you would rather not be passed on, say so in the message and you will get information rather than an introduction.
